Console
This console is produced from materials that are either used and reclaimed or commonly found locally that we also sell. The wood comes from a farm in Senoia, Georgia and the corrugated steel door fronts are galvanized sheets polished to a mirror finish. Even the stain on the inside of the piece is homemade - it's an old process called "Iron Buff", and is made by dropping used steel wool or iron shavings in vinegar. After soaking for a week, the mixture is wiped on and wiped off before it dries. The results are extraordinary.
